PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smaller and inexpensive adjuster which achieves a reduction in production cost by attaching a size adjusting function to a fastening means itself to curtail the procedures in mounting on an underwear or the like with a fine adjustment of the size while improving the appearance and form of the underwear or the like by attaching a decorating function. SOLUTION: A piercing hole 12 and a through inlet 13 are formed communicating with each other on an adjuster base body 1 and rails each with protruded stripes 14 are arranged on both sides of the piercing hole 12. A support 22 and a fastening body 25 are formed on an operating body 2, retaining pawls 24 are formed on both sides of the support 22 to engage the protruded stripes of the rails 14 and a slide arm 23 with a shape of letting it pass through the through inlet 13 is protrusively arranged on the side part of the tip of the support 22 to secure an interval enough to grasp the adjuster base body 1 between it and the retaining pawls 24. The operating body 2 is put through from the through inlet 13, slides to an arbitrary position of the adjuster base body 1 and thus, by an oscillating operation to raise or level the operating body 2 with the slide arm 23 as fulcrum, the adjuster base body 1 and the operating body 2 are retained on each other or separated from each other.
