PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a friction transmission and mesh transmission by one transmission belt B and also simplify the structure of a transmission device and reduce its cost surely. SOLUTION: Lots of teeth 5, 5,... extending to a belt width direction are provided with a prescribed pitch in the belt length direction on the inner surface of the belt main body 1 of a transmission belt B and on the tips of these respective teeth 5, plural grooves 6, 6,... with nearly triangle section extending to the belt length direction are formed at a prescribed intervals in the belt width direction and a friction transmission is carried out by the belt width direction both sides of these respective grooves 6, while the mesh transmission can be carried out by respective teeth 5.
