PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject fiber sheet capable of easily soluble in an alkaline solution or a concrete slurry by forming paper from a papermaking slurry compounding of polypropylene fiber and carboxymethylcellulose or the like having water-insoluble property or the like and adding a dispersant thereto. SOLUTION: This alkali-disintegration polypropylene fiber sheet has 20-300 g/m2 preferably 50-180 g/m2 basis weight and is obtained by forming an alkali- disintegrable polypropylene fiber sheet from a papermaking slurry compounding of polypropylene fiber having a fineness of 1-20 denier and 1-30 mm cut length and water-insoluble or slightly-soluble carboxymethylcellulose or carboxyethylcellulose, furthermore, compounding a water-dispersable papermaking fiber such as kraft pulp thereto and using 0.05-3 wt.% surfactant as dispersant such as a polyoxyethylene alkyl phenyl ether based on polypropylene fiber.
