PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a glass product without the influence of a heat strain, etc. on a recessed part made at the central part of the bottom of the glass product by opposingly forming recessed parts on the inside and the outside of the bottom of the glass product molded by a press plunger, baking a mouth and punching the recessed parts or fusing them by heating to form a through-hole. SOLUTION: A press molding apparatus comprises a mold A to be supplied with a glass gob, a press plunger B having a projected tip for pressing the glass gob to mold a glass product and a pin apparatus C to form a recessed part on the central part of the bottom. The tip part of a plunger main body B-1 is protrusively provided with a projected part B-1a. A cylindrical bottom member D having the built-in pin apparatus C and a pin hole D-1 at the top is arranged on the bottom of the mold A. When the inside and the outside of the bottom of a glass-ware G is pressed from above and below by the projected part B-1a and a pin C-1, even if a hole is passed through, the hole is clogged by the glass-ware in a softened state and a space between both the recessed parts is thinly formed.
