PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the setting of a forming roll at the ideal position by supporting a supporting frame for supporting the forming roll with a parallel axis in the carrying direction of a forming line so as to be rotated. SOLUTION: A holding mechanism 8 is fitted to a forming machine body through a roll holder 40 for supporting a shaking frame 43 so as to be freely rotated, shaking frame 43 and bearing part 44. The forming roll 9 is supported with the holding mechanism 8 so as to be freely rotated with a roll shaft 47 arranged in the perpendicular direction to the carrying direction of the forming line. Both end parts of the roll shaft 47 are fixed with the supporting frames 45. The roll supporting frame 45 is supported with a horizontal shaft 46 orthogonally to the roll shaft 47 and parallel to the carrying direction of the forming line. The horizontal shaft 46 is supported with the bearing part 44. At the time of working a metallic plate with the forming rolls 9, the metallic plate is worked by turning the horizontal shaft 46 and the roll holder 40, so as to become the stable position at the least action force.
