PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assisting tool for cultivation, capable of activating the growth of the roots by preventing the plant roots under culturing from twining each other and improving the growing state of the plant. SOLUTION: This assisting tool for cultivation 10, is equipped with a coil like inducing part 11 for attracting the root 20 of strawberry seedlings 19 planted on a culturing soil 18 and a holding part 12 having a bent shape. By burying the assisting tool 10 in the culturing soil 18 filled in a culturing soil housing part 16 of an elevated culturing device 17, the roots 20 of the strawberry seedlings extend downward along with the coiled state inducing part 11. By preventing the plant roots under culturing from twining each other, the growth of the roots is activated and the growth state of the plant is improved.
