PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a support for a lithographic printing plate which reduces a loss of chemicals and a loss of electric energy and further treats uniformly a surface to be treated, by treating only a surface to be roughened as the lithographic printing plate. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method wherein a support for a lithographic printing plate is obtained by roughening a surface of an aluminum sheet by chemical polishing and/or an electrochemical means, a reaction inhibiting layer for protecting the aluminum sheet from treatment in a manufacturing process for obtaining the support for the lithographic printing plate is provided on a surface not to be treated of the aluminum sheet before the treatment. |
