PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal gear pump which reduces of cavitation noise and cavitation erosion and which prevents of decrease in volume efficiency. SOLUTION: A notch portion 8 is formed by notching the incline of the side face of a partition plate 8 interposed between the inner gear and the outer gear on an end thereof on the side of a discharge port 10, in such a way that notch is deeper at the side closer to the discharge port 10. The relation between a width Lci on the inner gear side and a width Lco on the outer gear side of the notch portion 8 is 0.2<Lco/Lci<0.9. The relation between a depth Ldi to the inner gear side and a depth Ldo to the outer gear side is 0.2<Ldo/Ldi<0.9.
