PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a scaffold for inspection cleaning of a piping inner face and facilitate its removal by carrying in a lightweight member through a manhole in large bore diameter piping and assembling the scaffold in the form of an octagonal cross section. SOLUTION: A lightweight member comprising the extrusion shape material of aluminum alloy is carried in from a manhole or the like and a working scaffold 1 in-piping is assembled in large bore diameter piping 76 not exceeding the diameter of 1-3 m. A lower frame 3 comprising two vertical materials and three lateral materials is connected with a horizontal brace 15 in the form of an octagonal cross section, fixed on the straightening plate 84 of the elbow part 79 of the piping 76 through a lower fixing brace 30, and an intermediate wall presser 59 is pressed on a piping inner face 82 to be fixed. A plural stages of a similar structures are connected to and formed of an intermediate frame 4 and the horizontal brace 15 thereon, a guard rail 6 is mounted on the uppermost part, a working stage is provided on the proper part of an intermediate part, and a vertical staircase 73 is provided. Thus, the scaffold 1 is easily assembled in the piping 76 and its removal can be facilitated.
