PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise reducer for a construction equipment capable of sufficiently reducing the whole noises of the construction equipment by decreasing the components of the noises, particularly a low-frequency band of the construction equipment and a sound absorbing body for the construction equipment used for the noise reducer. SOLUTION: A hydraulic pump 18, an engine 8 and an auxiliary equipment, etc., for the engine 8 are covered with covers 22a-22e. The sound absorbing bodies 29-32 consisting of at least two sound absorbing materials 33, 34 and membrane members 35 interposed among these sound absorbing materials 33, 34 are mounted at places corresponding to each equipment in the covers 22a-22e at that time.
