PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for filtration in which high- concentration slurry liquid is filtrated at high purity while maintaining high filtration efficiency by avoiding clogging of the minute flow paths of a filter. SOLUTION: A filter 2 is provided in the inside of the device which has a feed hole 43 of liquid to be treated, a discharge hole 44 and an outflow hole 45 of filtrate. A clearance 5, through which liquid to be treated is circulated and supplied or flowed and supplied along the wall surface on one side of the filter 2 through the feed hole 43 and the discharge hole 44, is formed into a minute and uniform interval in the nearly whole area of the wall surface on one side. Thereby, the high shearing flow of liquid to be treated is formed in the inside of the clearance 5. While preventing the openings of many minute flow paths reaching the wall surface on the other side of the filter 2 from the wall surface on one side thereof from being clogged by fine particles contained in liquid to be treated, filtrate permeated through the filter 2 via the minute flow path is discharged from the outflow port 45.
