PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tread board guide rail device for a passenger conveyer capable of facilitating a measure for strengthening of a guide rail of the tread board by simple work. SOLUTION: A guide rail 8 having a guide part 9 rolling a tread board roller of a passenger conveyer, side surface part 10 retracted from the guide part 9 in a cross section, and a flexed part 12 flexing a retraction end of the side surface part 10 in both sides respectively in an opposed direction to be formed with a tightening space 11 mutually between the side surface parts, is provided along the length of a main frame. A tightening implement 22 is mounted in the tightening space 11 through the flexed part 12 and a tip end part is arranged to be opposed to a reverse surface of the guide part 9. A reinforcing streak unit 23 is arranged between the reverse surface of the guide part 9 and the tip end part of the tightening implement 22, and the reinforcing streak unit 23 is mounted to be pressed to the reverse surface of the guide part 9 by the tightening implement 22. In this way, a part to be strengthened in the guide rail 8 is reinforced to obtain required strength.
