The compositions described herein are hard surface cleaning compositions which are viscous but at the same time easy to rinse. Such compositions are formulated by using an amine oxide, or amine, or mixtures thereof, in combination with a secondary, or primary monobranched alxyl sulfate or sulfonate in a mildly acidic system further comprising a hydrotrope and an organic acid.
