PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic warp knitted fabric improved in a phenomenon for falling off yarns and in a laughing defect (a defect that the fabric is not immediately recovered to the original state, when stretched and subsequently released). SOLUTION: This elastic warp knitted fabric is obtained by inserting elastic yarns into a warp knitted fabric. Therein, the elastic yarns comprise the doubled yarns of an elastic yarn with a non-elastic yarn and, if necessary, further include two folded yarns obtained by folding the folded yarns each other and yarns obtained by covering or twisting the folded yarn with a non-elastic yarn.
