PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle provided with a casing leaking no condensate generated by an evaporator to clutside, and easily assembled at a low cost. SOLUTION: An air conditioner is provided with an evaporator 3, a heater 4, etc., in a casing 12. The casing 12 is devided into two members, and they commonly have coupling surfaces 15 to be integrated with each other. On one coupling surface 15, a seal rubber 16 is provided at a close part to the evaporator 3. In the seal rubber 16, a groove 22, a screw hole 17, and a positioning hole 18 are formed. In the other coupling surface 15, unillustrated, a protruded part, an insertion hole, and a positioning pin are formed to correspond to these. In addition, a lip part 20 is formed on the seal rubber 16, so at the time of tightening the casing 12, if assemblage is correctly performed or not can be determined by measuring a protruded length of the lip part 20.
