PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the easy of taking timing at the time of a dynamic play, to stabilize a swing and to increase a carry by disposing superelastic alloy fibers in a specific angle range with respect to the axial center of a golf club shaft made of a fiber reinforced resin. SOLUTION: The golf club shaft 1 made of the fiber reinforced resin of the golf club of a wood type or iron type is formed by fixing a head 2 to a front end (tip) 5 side and fixing a grip 3 to a butt 4 side. The production of such shaft 1 is executed by successively winding and laminating a plurality of prepregs formed by impregnating the reinforcing fibers with the resin around a central core material, then curing the impregnating resin. Oblique intersection layers are used for the prepregs. The superelastic alloy fibers, such as nickel- titanium alloy fibers, are disposed at least at one sheet among the plurality of prepregs in the position of approximately (1/3) L from the front end with respect to the overall length L of the shaft at an angle of +(45 deg.±10 deg.) and -(45 deg.±10 deg.) of the axial center of the shaft.
|
