PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gasifying and melting power generating system, improving a power generating efficiency by recovering heat at a temperature as high as possible while reducing corrosion in a superheater and capable of reducing the amount of use of auxiliary fuel through the melting treatment of ash. SOLUTION: Combustible gas, produced in a gasifying furnace 21 and having a comparatively low density of HCl produced in a gasifying furnace 21 as well as a low calorific value, is mixed into char, produced in a pyrolisis furnace 24 and having a low density of chlorine, to burn the mixture in a independent superheater 23 whereby the amount of use of auxiliary fuel can be reduced and the concentration of HCl in combustion exhaust gas ca be reduced. According to this method, corrosive environment can be mitigated whereby the superheater 23 can be operated at a high temperature under a high pressure to improve the power generating efficiency of a generator 6 while the char having a high calorific value as well as the combustible gas, produced in the pyrolisis furnace and having a high heat generating amount, are burnt in the combustion melting furnace 2 whereby the melting temperature of ash can be achieved by slight auxiliary combustion and the amount of use of the auxiliary fuel can be reduced as the whole of a system.
