PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydrating drier where the handling property of dried substance of slurry is enhanced. SOLUTION: This dehydrating drier has a drum screen 2 where a small hole 2a is made at the flank and also which is provided with a recovery port 10 at the bottom and has dumped slurry stuck to the inwall face of the flank by centrifugal force, being rotated by a driver 3, and centrifugally dehydrates the slurry and extracts a solid from this slurry, a rib 14 which is made at the inwall face of this drum screen 2 and projects inward, demarcating the inwall face of the drum screen 2 into plural regions, and a heater 5 which produces dry substance by evaporating the moisture contained in the sold extracted from the slurry, and the dry substance made into small pieces by the ribs 14 drops from the recovery port 11.
