PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprinkling water for plant capable of reducing an amount of agrochemical for use and of effectively controlling the diseases and bacterial pollution of plant without having an injurious effect on plant from salt by including an electrolytic water having a specific sodium-ion concentration and pH value. SOLUTION: This sprinkling water for plant is an electrolytic water having a sodium-ion concentration of <=200 ppm and pH value of 4.5 to 6.8. The sprinkling water is produced by the following steps of: adding a hydrochloric acid to a water without containing sodium chloride for preparing a liquid added with hydrochloric acid; electrolyzing the liquid by using a non-diaphragmatic electric cell; and diluting the thus obtained electrolyte for adjusting the pH value to 4.5 to 6.8. The sodium-ion concentration of the resultant sprinkling water added with no sodium chloride may result in <=200 ppm, and it also never exceeds a sodium-ion concentration of the above water (e.g. city water, underground water, undercurrent water, demineralized water, distilled water or purified water) containing no sodium chloride.
