PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piano carrying cart for carrying-in/-out a piano to/from a stage in a piano recital hall by simple vertical movement by a few people. SOLUTION: A piano carrying cart is composed of: a base mount 1, an elevating mechanism 2, a frame 3, and first and second receiving parts 4 and 5 on the frame 3 and on the first receiving part 4 respectively. A piano 10 is placed onto the receiving part 5 to be lifted to the level of a stage 31 by actuating the elevating mechanism 2. There the receiving parts 4 and 5 are slid forward to place to piano 10 onto the stage 31, and then are slightly lowered and returned on the frame 3, thereby grounding the piano 10 onto the stage 31. When the piano 10 is carried out from the stage 31, and reverse action is made.
