PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to hold a metallic plate under working without any manual work, to smoothly deal with a metallic plate of different size, and to improve working efficiency of metal working, and further to execute working in safety. SOLUTION: A supporting base plate 2 is equipped with a rotary shaft 3, with a driving device 4 to turn this totary shaft 3 in forward or reverse direction at a prescribed turning angle, and further with a metallic plate holding arm 5 so as to be capable of turning in forward or reverse direction integrally with the rotary shaft 3. The metallic plate holding arm 5 comprises a supporting arm 5a and a metallic plate supporting lever 5b and is capable of jointing them with modified angles. Further, by a striker and a position detecting device, the turning angle of the rotary shaft 3 is controllable.
