PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely recover a release agent by providing a release agent recovering device provided with a second pressure decreasing source for decreasing the pressure of a tank for recovering the release agent and a release agent splashing device having a pressure increasing source communicating with the second pressure decreasing source through a cavity space. SOLUTION: This applicator is composed of a release agent supplying device 29 for supplying the release agent into the cavity space 4, a release agent passage 18 communicating with the supplying device 29, a molten metal supplying device for supplying the molten metal into the cavity space 4, an opening/closing mechanism of communicating hole 17 for communicating the release agent passage 18 with a molten metal supplying passage, the release agent recovering device 24 for recovering the release agent in the cavity space 4, the release agent splashing device 39 for splashing the release agent in the cavity space 4, and an release agent introducing device for introducing the release agent into the cavity space. The release agent applied on the cavity space surface is splashed into the cavity space by pressurizing the cavity space 4 with a pressurizing pump 40, and the splashed release agent is sucked with negative pressure by a vacuum pump 25 and recovered into the tank.
