PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to prevent the generation of offensive odors on the inside walls of a tank for washing cereals and saprophytic bacteria and to easily wash the bran, scale, or the like, sticking to the inside walls with a cereal washing device used for an automatic rice cooking device, or the like, by coating the inside walls with materials having a photocatalyst effect. SOLUTION: The automatic rice cooking device is equipped with a rice storage house 4, a washing section 5 and a rice cooking section successively from an upper side. This storage house 4 is mounted at its bottom end to a top plate 17 having a communication port 18 and is internally equipped with a hopper 7. A rice feeder 9 is disposed at a communication path 19 communicating with this communication port 18. Further, the washing section 5 is mounted with the tank at the rear surface of the top plate 17 and an agitating device 10 is disposed at the inner center thereof. A throwing valve 13 is disposed in a rice discharge port 12 at the bottom end and an adjusting plate 26 is disposed in an overflow port 24 at the upper part. In such a case, the inside walls of the tank, the rear surface of the top plate 17 and the overflow adjusting plate 26, or the like, are respectively coated with the materials having the photocatalyst effect, for example, titanium oxide, or the like.
