PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent formation of a gap that may cause leakage by enabling an absorbent article to be three-dimensionally brought into close contact with the contours of the waist and legs of a wearer without the need to provide gathers and to provide an economical product by reducing materials used, and forming the product using a method that does not impede machine controllability. SOLUTION: A front body 3 and a rear body 4 which can cover the abdominal part and the hip part of a wearer are integrated together to form an article body sheet 1. The body sheet 1 is made of a flexible material and connection means are arranged on the front body 3 and the rear body 4. An absorbent layer 6 for absorbing humor and a surface sheet 7 covering the surface of the absorbent layer 6 are arranged on the inner surface of the body sheet 1.
