PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean remotely the inside of a tapped hole on an outer surface of a tubular structure formed in a narrow part. SOLUTION: A remote brushing device 10 comprises a fixed part 20 fixed to a tube base 9 by a cramping mechanism 29, a slewing part 30 to be fitted below the fixed part 20, and a brushing mechanism 50 to be fitted to the slewing part 30. The brushing mechanism 50 is equipped with a rotating means of a rotating brush, its feed means, and a means for allowing the rotating brush to approach the tube base 9 and separate therefrom.
