<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tiered stairs with the fine appearance capable of being simply constructed only by work from the front side of the stairs. SOLUTION: Tiered stairs are equipped with a side plate 10 having stage sections 11 formed in tiers, treads 20 arranged to the stage sections 11 of the side plate 10, risers 30 vertically arranged between up and down treads and tread end covers 40 provided to tread end section of the treads 20. Riser insertion grooves 26 and riser locking stage sections 25 are provided to the teads 20. While the tread end sections 21 of the treads 20 and parts on the basic ends closer than the riser insertion grooves 26 are fixed the side plate 10 with nails 53 and 56, the lower edge sections of the risers 30 are inserted into the riser insertion grooves 26 of the lower treads 20 and, at the same time, the tread end covers 40 are fitted and fixed to the tread end sections 21 of the treads 20 in a state to interlock the rear side of the upper end section with the riser locking stage sections 25 of the treads on the upper side.</p> |
