<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit a pair of intermediate feed rollers which are required conventionally to reduce cost of a paper feeding device while maintaining high speed picture image processing. SOLUTION: A paper feeding and conveyance device 5 provided with pairs of feed rollers 9a, 9b to 12a, 12b and a pair of resist rollers 13, 14 supplying a paper at a process speed for forming picture image are arranged by corresponding them to each of cassette mounting parts A at a plurality of upper and lower steps. A paper feeding speed of the pairs of feed rollers is set to a higher speed than a process paper feeding speed. A pair of second feed rollers 9a, 9b on the most downstream side are constituted in such a way that their speeds can be switched to the process paper feeding speed. In continuous picture image formation mode, the pair of second feed rollers 9a, 9b on the most downstream side are driven at a high speed when paper is supplied to the pair of resist rollers 13, 14 and are driven at the process speed when paper is supplied by the pair of resist rollers 13, 14.</p> |
