<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain humidity in a storeroom and suppress the propagation of mold in the storeroom in connection with a refrigerator used for refrigerating or freezing foods or the like. SOLUTION: By using a pipe 30 for draining outside a refrigerator which communicates to a drain port of a drain pan 29 and provided with a solenoid valve 31, and drain 28 collected in a drain pan 29, a humidifier 32 for humidifying the air in a storeroom 15, and a solenoid valve controller for opening the solenoid valve 31 are provided. As a result, adequate humidity is maintained in a refrigerator, so that the preservation period of foods will be made longer than that in the past. That is, deterioration of quality is prevented. Further, by the action of the solenoid valve 31, propagation of mold in the storeroom 15 is suppressed.</p> |
