PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive shaft so constituted that the circularity of an inner surface can be secured, which is laid along the radial direction of a resin slider even at the time of molding. SOLUTION: This drive shaft comprises a sleeve yoke and a shaft yoke, universal joints fitted to the end position of these yokes by way of weld yoke, paired inner and outer safety covers enclosing the sleeve yoke and the shaft yoke while being fitted to the outer side position laid along the radial direction of each weld yoke, and an annular resin slider 8 which is interposed between each safety cover and each weld yoke so as to be fitted thereto, each cutting and separating part 8b which is disposed in specified positions in the circumferential direction, is formed along the radial direction, and a recessed part 8d laid along the axial direction, is formed up at a place which agrees with the place of the cutting and separating part 8b over the inner surface laid along the radial direction of the resin slider 8.
