PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the attitude of paper sheets and to prevent them from being hopped out by setting the distance from a second mount face to a vibrator smaller than the half of the distance from the second mount face to the end of the paper sheets in a side separated from the second mount face. SOLUTION: A distance P from a base face 202 to the highest projection position of a vibrator 207 is set smaller than a distance V from the base face 202 to the center G of a letter 1d, that is to say P<V. In a postal letter, the length D in the depth direction of the letter 1 is 90 mm-120 mm so that it falls the half of the length D of the distance V 45 mm-60 mm. Preferably, it is so set that, when D is 120 mm, P<60 mm and when D is 90 mm, P<45 mm. Then, the vibrator 207 and the letter 1d are vibrated along the base face 202, a force a acting on the letter 1d becomes approximately parallel to the base face 202. The bottom end of the letter 1d can be thus aligned like the letter 1e by the impact, when the letter 1d is dropped to the feeding means 203 or the bottom 201, and the work of the gravity.
