PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust from being produced when a top cover is put on a disk box. SOLUTION: A disk box 1 is provided to house a storage disk and a top and bottom openings are closed with a top cover 3 and a bottom cover 2 respectively. In the disk box 1, an insertion groove 6 is opened in each of the opposite end sides 5 thereof in addition to the top opening. The top opening is closed with a lid part 3a of the top cover 3 and the groove 6 is closed with an end side cover 8 provided in the top cover 3. The end side cover 8 has a movable hook 17, while a fixed hook 11 is provided in each of the opposite end sides 5. By the engagement of both the hooks 11, 17, the top cover 3 is connected to the disk box 1; however, the movable hook 17 is moved over the hook 11 by an elastic deformation generated within a small area of a part of the end side cover 8 and locked on the hook 11, and hence a violent air flow is not produced when the disk box 1 is closed so that dust of outside air is prevented from flowing into the box.
