PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can produce a molding having a shape corresponding correctly to the inner surface shape of a molding mold without generating defects deteriorating the surface properties of the molding such as air gaps on the surface of the molding. SOLUTION: In a method for producing a molding, a liquid molding material is injected into a molding mold in the presence of a surface treating agent containing a contact angle reducing substance under conditions to make the contact angle between the liquid molding material and the inner surface of the molding mold 30 degree or below, and the liquid material is cured for molding. The surface treating agent in this method contains a contact angle reducing substance which makes the contact angle between the liquid molding material and a smooth plate of the same material with that of the molding mold when the molding material added with the substance is dropped on the smooth plate or when the substance is stuck to the plate and the molding material is dropped on it. Air gaps are reduced in the molding with the use of the surface treating agent. |
