PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition containing vitamins B12 which is stable even in the presence of vitamins B2 or vitamins B6 and has sufficient strength forming few broken chips by coatingα-starches and vitamins B12 with a cellulose-based polymer or the like. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by coating (A)α-starches, preferably partialα-starches, and (B) vitamins B12, e.g. preferably cyanocobalamin and the like, with (C) (i) a cellulose-based polymer, e.g. preferably hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose or the like, or (ii) an acrylic polymer, e.g. a methacrylic acid copolymer LD or the like. It is favorable that the component A is used in a proportion of about 100-1500 pts.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. of the component B and the component C is used in a proportion of about 1-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the total weight of the components A and B. This composition is preferably used as a peroral solid preparation in combination with vitamins B2 or the like.
