PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition with no use of any lead-based stabilizer, capable of reducing smoke containing hydrogen chloride and carbon dioxide and the like generated when burned or incinerated. SOLUTION: This composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a chlorinated vinyl chloride resin or its mixture with vinyl chloride resin 60-75 wt.% in average chlorine content and 1-40 pts.wt. of an inorganic hydrogen chloride scavenger which is composed of 44.26-50.26 wt.% of silicon oxide, 29.30-35.30 wt.% of aluminum oxide, 14.45-20.45 wt.% of sodium oxide, minute amounts of calcium oxide, and minute amounts of magnesium oxide.
