PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food packaging bag in which a food can be easily packaged in such a way that the food to be packaged can be easily stored in a deep section of the bag. SOLUTION: There is provided a food packaging bag in which a synthetic resin film 1 is folded into two segments toward a lateral width direction at its central part, its lower part is adhered by adhesive agent which can be peeled off with its edge part 1a being left and at the same time its side part 1b is adhered with adhesive agent to form a bag with its upper part 1c being left, and an opening piece 2 is formed at the edge part 1a. In addition, it is preferable that the synthetic resin film 1 is of a film which can easily be peeled off and its tearing direction is substantially in parallel with a folding line 1d. Further, it is also preferable that the opening piece 2 is a piece which is formed through a pair of parallel cutting perforations 1e, 1e arranged at the edge 1a. Additionally, it is preferable that the opening piece 2 is formed at a location near the folding line 1d rather than the central part in the width direction.
