PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide satisfactory dimensional stability by attaching a reinforcing material consisting of carbonaceous fiber to both sides of a plate. SOLUTION: Warp and weft carbonaceous fibers are alternately woven to form a reinforcing material 12. The surface of a plate 11 consisting of wooden plywood or solid material is roughly treated, and a proper primer is uniformly applied thereto. An adhesive is applied to the surface of the reinforcing material 12 and sufficiently impregnated therein, and the reinforcing materials 12 are adhered to both sides of the plate 11 through the adhesive to form a panel A. Otherwise, each reinforcing material 12 may be formed into a sheet through a matrix material such as a thermosetting resin such as phenolic resin, urea resin, melamine resin, unsaturated polyester resin or alkyd resin or a thermoplastic resin such as polyolefin compound, and adhered to the plate 11 through an adhesive material. According to this, satisfactory dimensional stability can be provided.
