PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a painted concrete block capable of eliminating the need for preparing a clog material while effectively using a small space during drying a paint applied surface, avoiding rubbing of the paint applied surface during storage, transportation and construction, and enhancing the paint applied surface with picture frame effect while activating a contrast between the paint applied surface and a ground surface in design. SOLUTION: An upper face 2 (an outer face) exposed to the outside in an installed condition is formed with a picture frame face 20 on a peripheral edge and a recessed face 21 encircled by the picture frame face. The recessed face is only formed on a paint applied surface 3 and other faces including the picture frame face are formed on a ground surface 4 with an exposed concrete face.
