PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wall paper that can be readily positioned on the application, newly put up to the wall despite that it is not peeled off after it is put up, and can prevent dews from condensing on the wall since it has good air and moisture permeability. SOLUTION: The base material is coated with an adhesive in a filamentous form on its back face and the filamentous adhesive layer 3 is formed in a random pattern on the back face of the base material 1. On the front face of the base material 1, an uneven pattern is formed by embossing. The peeling ply 2 is formed on the front face of the base material 1 and the base material is coated with the adhesive in an amount of >=5 g/1 m2 area of the base material. Thus, it can be readily positioned, and can be readily re-hung on the wall despite that it does not peel off down after being spread. In addition, this wall paper has both of good air permeation and moisture permeation and can inhibit the dew condensation.
