PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a windup doll mechanism capable of eliminating the need to add a driving source such as a motor for the travel and movement of a doll and therefore the need for lead wires by using one motor not only in opening and closing a stage but also in effecting the movement of the doll. SOLUTION: In a windup doll mechanism having a stage compartment 22, a stage 1 rotated about a base part for opening and closing relative to the stage compartment, and a doll 8 rising onto the stage, the opening movement of the stage 1, the rising movement of the doll 8 on the stage, and the movement of the doll after its rise are sequentially effected by the rotary drive of one motor.
