If the paper feed error occurs, a controller outputs a stop signal to the gathering machines. If paper feed error occurs in a paper bundle bound during the time from the time when the stop signal is input in the gathering machines to the time when the gathering machines stop, an operation switch 17n is operated, the paper feed step where the paper feed error occurs and the contents of the paper feed error are selected, and they are displayed in the display lamps 17fy to 17ky.
