PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article processing device and a paper leaf processing device which can make round a packaging material after being unsealed into smaller pieces automatically for disposal thereof, form a setting space for the device small, and reduce the labor of a worker. SOLUTION: A paper leaf processing device is provided with a film separation mechanism for disassembling a sealed packaged by a packaging film and separating the film therefrom and a film processing device 300 for processing the separated packaging film L. The film processing device 300 is provided with upper and lower drawing belt mechanisms 301 and 302 for crushing the drawn film L into the flat shape, a downward feed belt mechanism 308 for making round jointly the flatly crushed film L, a roll-in belt mechanism 315, counter- rotating rollers 319 and upper and lower heating cylinders 321 and 324. The film L fed downward by the downward feed belt mechanism 308 is made round jointly by the roll-in belt mechanism 315 traveling in the reverse direction.
