PURPOSE: A two colors division printing method of a receipt printer is provided to make the classification of main data and so on easy by printing a classification printing section with the changed color of an ink ribbon. CONSTITUTION: The two colors division printing method of a receipt printer comprises the steps of:starting a printing after receiving data for printing from a host; deciding if there is a received message that applies the printing by distinguishing colors among the data; deciding if the color of the printing ribbon is the same as the changing color when there is a received message that applies the printing by distinguish colors among the data; and applying a printing to change the color of a printing ribbon to other colors when the printing color is not the same as the changing color.
