<p>Sole consists of a cellular material filled with cork particles and possesses a density 0.5, pref. about 0.35. The material may be of synthetic rubber mixed with an expandable material and at -east 15% of cork. The sole may be formed by heating and expanding a blank formed from a sheet of material composed of synthetic rubber, expanding agent and cork, and may be moulded onto the upper and then vulcanised. The sole is very flexible and comfortable, with good insulation.</p> |
