PURPOSE: A door opening device of a washing machine is provided to prevent an accident and sudden closing by butting a circumscribing gear with an inscribing gear when a door is closed. CONSTITUTION: The door opening device of a washing machine comprises the steps of: combining a top cover to the upper side of a main body of a washing machine; herein, combining a door with a hinge for putting the cover of the washing machine in or out; combining an oil damper(37) containing the circumscribing gear on the hinge side of the top cover; combining the inscribing gear butted with the circumscribing gear as a door (25)is closed and opened on the hinge side of the door. |
