MULTI-DOMAIN METHODE OF FORMING LIQUID CRYSTAL DIRECTOR BY USING INTERFEROMETER

PURPOSE: A multi-domain method is provided to improve the fail of the liquid crystal display occurred by rubbing technique. CONSTITUTION: According to the method, a transparent electrode and a optically oriented liquid crystal director is deposited on a glass substrate. A interference pattern formed by interferometer is projected on the director film of the substrate tilted in one direction and then in contrary direction. The director film with multi-domain oriented in different direction respectively is formed, thereby widening a view angle of a liquid crystal display.
