DISCRETE COSINE TRANSFORM(DCT) REALIZING METHOD AND DEVICE

PURPOSE: A DCT realizing method is provided to rapidly calculate without an additional cycle for an address when reading and writing. CONSTITUTION: The DCT realizing method has the steps of: shifting to the left n number of LSB of I by "I(L)n" for ruling the type of a data passage between IBAS after making all steps same; defining a new shift operating such as shifting to the right n number of LSB of I by "I(R)n"; repeatedly applying a butterfly operating about the data that is stored in a sequenced address by a part of IBAS; and storing in the right position for the next operating by applying the defined operating about the data that finishes each butterfly operating.
