PURPOSE: A car controlling device changing the critical value according to the road surface and the method thereof is provided to positively perform the attitude controlling movement of a car and to simplify the control program according to the modeling. CONSTITUTION: The car controlling method performing the attitude control of a car comprises the steps of:inferring the road surface friction coefficient according to the deviation of the measuring angular velocity and the operating angular velocity and variably setting the critical value according to the pattern to change the deviation; performing the modeling for the attitude control of a car in turning through the operating function according to the set-up critical value; and performing the car attitude control by controlling the braking power of wheels and the engine generating power according to the performing consequences of the modeling.
