PURPOSE: A machinery chamber of a refrigerator having a noise reduction structure is provided to decrease the noise of a machinery chamber and to consult a user's convenience by preventing the inconvenience by the noise in the use of a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: The machinery chamber of a refrigerator having a noise reduction structure comprises:a compressor(3) for compressing the refrigerant; a condenser(11) for liquefying the refrigerant by cooling it; a compressor cooling fan(23) installed near the outside of the compressor(3); a driving motor(25) for generating the driving force into the cooling fan(23); and a noise reducing duct(41) having a noise extinction structure.
