PURPOSE: A method of field emission display(FED) manufacture is provided to extend the area of the display and to enhance the characteristic and the reliability of the display device by driving the display using a low voltage. CONSTITUTION: A method of field emission display produce comprises the steps of: sequentially forming a cathode electrode(13) and a gate insulating film(15) onto a glass substrate(11) and a gate insulating film(15); pre-baking after forming a negative photosensitive film(19) onto the whole surface of the substrate; and exposing the photosensitive film using liquid drops(21) as a mask after forming liquid drops to prevent the surface of the photosensitive film from light onto the cathode electrode.
