PURPOSE: A location registering method and location information searching method of a mobile terminal are provided to reduce the traffic of a signal for transmitting the location information of a roaming user. CONSTITUTION: The location registering method and location information searching method of a mobile terminal comprises the steps of: analyzing whether a demand for the received location register is the one of a local user or the one of a roaming user; renewing and saving the location information into a home visitor location register for the local user's demand; renewing and saving the location information into the gateway mobile visitor location register for the previously registered roaming user's demand; renewing and saving the location information into the home visitor location register after saving the location information into the gateway mobile visitor location register for the first roaming user's demand.
